Priyanka Mazumdar has been associated with The Taplow Group for close to a decade now. As Member – Advisory Council India, Priyanka provides strategic mentorship support to the Not-for-Profit and Philanthropy Sector Practice; and works closely with the Managing Director - India on institution building initiatives.
Priyanka received her master’s degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai, India) and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College (New Delhi, India). In her role as Partner - The Taplow Group, she covered the Not-for-Profit and Philanthropy Sector Practice for the firm. She is recognized as a highly specialized executive search consultant, having successfully led CxO level searches and Non-Executive Board positions for organization in the social impact sector across Asia and Africa. Priyanka also advises the private sector in recruiting for CSR talent and Advisory Boards in-country.
Priyanka is very passionate about her work in building leadership critical mass for the social sector, which according to her is a key enabler to create impact at scale. In a career spanning close to two decades, Priyanka has worked in partnership with a diverse set of stakeholders in the social impact sector - bilateral and multilateral organizations, private philanthropy sector, international non-profit organizations, and civil society. Some of the significant assignments to her credit include hiring CEOs, Regional Directors, Functional Heads and Non-Executive Board positions for organizations like American India Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation(ICO), British Asian Trust, CARE International/India, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Department for International Development (DFID), Evidence Action, Ford Foundation, IPAS, Indian School of Business, Lions Club International, Larry Ellison Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, NIIT University, Operation Eyesight Universal, Oxfam, Sightsavers International, Voluntary Service Overseas, Vital Strategies, World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Prior to joining The Taplow Group, Priyanka was a Principal with TRANSEARCH India, where she established a market leading Not-for-Profit Sector Practice for the firm over four years. In the past, Priyanka worked as Vice President (and member of the founding team) with Third Sector Partners which is a boutique search firm for development organizations, social enterprise, CSR, and sustainability sectors.
