He is a thorough Talent Acquisition professional with expertise in leadership & expat hiring and a demonstrated track record of managing P&L roles & handling large teams across regions. Vivek has over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition in Search Firms, Recruitment Firms and Corporate. While his Search experience has been fairly broad based, cutting across diverse industries & functions, his main strength lies in providing Search solutions to large Indian business houses.
Vivek is very strongly grounded in the classical search methodology and brings a highly intensive and qualitative approach to his assignments. He has successfully worked with clients in building their world class leadership teams across C- suite level assignments (CEO, COO, and CFO). He has also been involved in senior management search assignments with clients like Moser Baer, Glaxo Smithkline Consumer Care, JCB and Noida Power, Ranbaxy, Cadbury, Nestle, Honda Siel Cars, Bajaj Auto, Yamaha Motors India and many more. Vivek has excellent man management skills and has successfully led large teams across regions.
Prior to The Taplow Group, Vivek was with Reliance Industries Ltd. where he was responsible for hiring of Experts- Expats from across the globe for the Refinery, Petrochemicals and Technology business, where he had been instrumental in hiring over 45 top experts from organizations across USA, UK, Germany, China, Korea, South Africa, Italy, Sweden and India.
Prior to Reliance Industries Ltd., Vivek was the Recruiting Business Head (Manufacturing & Engineering Group) at IKYA. He has also worked with companies like Standard Chartered Bank (Credit Card), Zee Interactive Learning System and Plastosen Limited.
Vivek holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in HR Operations. His hobbies include cricket, golf, swimming and he enjoys long drives to far off destinations during holidays.
