Shaista is a seasoned Executive Search Consultant, and also the Co- Founder of The Taplow Group in India. Along with managing the India operations, she is the youngest sitting member on the Global Board of Directors as the Global CMO for the group which spans over 20 countries.
Over the span of her career Shaista has been involved in management and strategy consulting as well as HR consulting. She believes that diversity of experience is what helps individuals grow and has thus, sans fear, jumped into entrepreneurship at an early age of 27 (just 7 years back)! She has had an extremely steep learning curve as has learnt from the best in the industry at all times.
As a search consultant, she engages in business development & executes senior leadership mandates across Consumer, Industrial, Education, Financial, and Not for Profit sectors both in Indian and International Markets.
As a Board Member she is involved in various initiatives to support the growth and expansion of the Group.
And while leading the India operations as Co-Founder, she is involved in developing the future growth strategy of the firm in the country.
Prior to The Taplow Group, Shaista worked with a New York based global executive search firm, where she worked on leadership roles in the Education, Financial Services & Industrial sectors respectively. In the past she has also been part of one of India’s leading Management & Strategy Consulting firms; KSA Technopak, where she focused on assignments that dealt with India Entry & Market Entry Strategy, Assistance on New Business Diversification, and Product Development for her clients.
Shaista holds an Honors Degree in Applied Psychology from the Delhi University. She feels strongly about a work- life balance and thus indulges in her love for music, dance, reading and gardening in her free time.
